Joint improvements of radar/infrared stealth for exhaust system of unmanned aircraft based on sorting factor Pareto solution

Abstract In order to reduce the radar cross section (RCS) of unmanned aircraft while suppressing its infrared signature, a comprehensive design method (CDM) based on sorting factor Pareto solution is presented. The physical optics and diffraction theory are used evaluate electromagnetic scattering characteristics aircraft, Monte Carlo ray tracing radiation intensity exhaust system. CDM screen each individual in offspring, parameters sub-models system continuously improved. results show that port model, lower baffle nozzle height main factors affecting RCS indicators, stages, outer width make contribution suppression. presented efficient effective enhancing radar/infrared integrated stealth performance aircraft.
